Coastal Walks

With the countryside all around you in St Ives you are quite simply spoilt for choice. Coastal walks often offer the most picturesque sights of Cornwall, whether it's the fantastic ocean vistas or the rolling fields of the countryside set beside dramatic coastal cliffs.

One of our favourite walks to embark upon is the journey from St Ives to Zennor, a formidable, yet rewarding walk climbing up and down the coastal paths, you can keep an eye out for some wildlife dotted across the route with some surrounding farmland to pass through along the way.

It's best to start early for the walk to Zennor, especially if you hope to walk back too, if not simply take the bus back from the centre of Zennor to the beginning of the route.

Local Cuisine and Boutique Shopping

St Ives has plenty of restaurants to enjoy whilst you're here. Enjoy the comfort of a heated pod overlooking Porthmeor Beach or nestle yourself in one of the many local pubs for a warm winter's evening. With local produce on the menu throughout the town you're sure to find some great Cornish cuisine to enjoy throughout your time in our luxury cottages in St Ives. So whether you enjoy a bite to eat out for the evening or take full advantage of our concierge service and the local markets on offer, there's always something for you to enjoy.

Along Fore Street and across the length of the harbour there are a wealth of wonderful boutique shops to take in. From local art to hand made jewellery there are so many shops to explore, why not visit John's Wine Store where you can purchase a wide variety of alcoholic drinks from around the county and the rest of the world, or stop by Cornwall Soap Box for some fantastic hand made soaps.
