Even if the town has become quieter, most restaurants and cafes are remaining open during November and December. From breakfast with a view at Porthmeor Beach Cafe to delicious lunch in Source Kitchen and dinner at Porthminster Cafe, St Ives will offer you some quality food to be enjoyed with a stunning backdrop.

Outdoor activities
Days might have become shorter but there is still plenty of time for you to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cornwall. If you are feeling adventurous why not discover the area with an e-bikes available at E-bikes St Ives where you can rent a electric bike.
St Ives surf School is also operating some private lessons to learn how to surf or paddle-board. If you are feeling brave and attracted to the sea, Porthmeor is the perfect spot to familiarise yourself with some water activities.
It is also a fantastic time to discover Cornwall in a more dramatic atmosphere. Start your coastal walk from Hayle Estuary and enjoy the empty beach in Gwithian all the way to Godrevy where you can treat yourself to lunch or coffee and cake. If you are feeling motivated, you may as well continue the walk to Hell's Mouth Cafe or Portreath and you will see some seals and amazing cliffs views along the way.
