A Guide to Winter in St Ives (Part One)

Conor Fletcher

Christmas getting nearer with each day that passes us and with the Christmas lights now on display throughout St Ives it's time to look forward to nights of festive fun on the South West Coast. Late night shopping has begun and with it a plethora of windows lighting up the cobbled streets of St Ives. Our luxury self catering cottages are a moments walk from the town centre which means you can spend the evening enjoying the best that St Ives has to offer you.

In these challenging times the town has taken further measures to allow people to enjoy St Ives in the safest way possible, that's why booking your restaurant reservations in advance of your break is highly advised as places often get booked quickly. If you're not sure of where to visit throughout the town to spend a night out or want to know more about what makes the town so special at this time of year then simply get in touch with us, as a member of the team will be happy to help prepare for your stay in our luxury self catering cottages.

Ben Prior of Ben's Cornish Kitchen has taken the helm at Porthminster Kitchen throughout 2020. The restaurant, a part of the Porthminster family has become a pillar of St Ives. Ben's take on Porthminster Kitchen's menu offers a mix of Asian inspired seafood cuisine. With the nights drawing in earlier Porthminster Kitchen still offers some of the best views out across the night-time harbour waters and is a must should you be visiting St Ives at this time of year.
