Coastal Walks

cornwall coast path

There’s no better time than early summer to embrace the natural splendour of Cornwall. With so much on offer right on the doorstep of your holiday cottage in St Ives, there’s no need to venture too far, however if the mood takes you there are some stunning spots slightly further afield. We love Porthcurno and the awe-inspiring Minack theatre carved into the cliff-face as well as St Michaels Mount, a unique tidal island just a few minutes from Penzance. Both offer picturesque beach walks as well as focal points to pique the interest and imaginations of young minds!

St Ives Boat Rides

St Ives by sea offers a new view of the area and can be a great way to explore the coast whilst surrounded by fresh sea air and miles of open sparkling water. Whether you're game for catching your own fish supper or leaning more towards a relaxing cruise around Seal Island, a plethora of possibilities await your perusal. Opt for a high speed, adrenaline fuelled Rib ride around the bay or hire a self-drive motor boat and take the whole family for a spin - you can take the dog along with you on the self-drive and life jackets will be provided for all (yes, even the pooch). A trip to Seal Island will take you out of the harbour and round past Porthgwidden to Porthmeor and beyond, you're in with a chance of seeing dolphins, sun fish and even basking sharks as well as seals.  St Ives Boat Rides operate from the harbour which is just minutes from your holiday cottage in St Ives.

Easy designated parking...

Perhaps once you’re parked and unpacked you won’t have any use for the car until home time. But if you’re planning to venture further afield you can rest assured that each of our cottages comes with its own complimentary parking bay on Beach Road. These assigned spaces ensure you have a streamlined and hassle-free return to St Ives as we enter the busier months. Our private car park is a short 8-minute stroll from your St Ives holiday cottage, which you can access 24 hours a day and come and go as you please. You will be given a bay allocation on arrival, which is yours to use for the duration of your holiday.
