When you decide to treat yourself to a well deserved break with your loved ones, June is always a good month to go to St Ives. The weather is definitely improving, there are a lot of events taking place and Cornwall is not as busy as it is during the summer months.

Events in Cornwall in June

Many events are taking place in June in Cornwall to keep you entertained. Mazey day is a big Cornish celebration taking place in Penzance at the end of the month to celebrate the cornish culture. The Eden Projet will organise a Parkrun every Saturday at 9am which gives you the possibility to run 5km in the beautiful scenery of the Eden. The Guildhall in St Ives hosts an Antique market on Mondays, an art and craft market and Tuesdays and Wednesdays and also a farmers market on Thursdays. If you are looking for fresh local produce, this is definitely worth a visit.

Gardens are blooming in Cornwall

If you are a garden fan and enjoy wandering among beautiful flowers and trees, June will offer you a spectacular show. Only a few minutes walk from your St Ives luxury apartment, The Barbara Hepworth museum will definitely be worth a visit as the flowers will offer a splendid show of colours among the beautiful sculptures. Make sure to pop in the office to request your member card to get a free entry to The Tate and the Museum. Tremenheere Sculpture Garden is also a must-go to admire the beauty of nature with permanent settings by renowed artists like David Nash or Tim Shaw.
