Vegan restaurants in St Ives and Cornwall

Hélène Chaussavoine

Whether you are simply cutting down on meat or would like to only eat plant based food, finding the right place for a meal can be a bit tricky if you don't know the area really well. As we want to make sure that everyone gets the holiday they deserve, we have tried for you some of the local vegan restaurants.

The Bean Inn - Classic food

Based just outside of St Ives in the middle of Carbis Bay, this cosy restaurant offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. From a curry to a vegetable bourguignon, the selection of dishes is far from being boring and all vegetarian options can be adapted to be vegan. This candlelit and intimate restaurant has a rotating selection of local art on the wall to mix delicious food and pleasure for the eyes.

Blas Burgerworks

Located on the Warren, this wonderful restaurant knows everything about burgers and will offer you some combination of flavour like you've never seen before. All vegetarian options are also vegan so you will not be stuck with a few options that don't take your fancy. As it is on the other side of town from the Sail Lofts, it is the perfect place to enjoy dinner before strolling back along the harbour to get back to your luxury apartment.

Delices du Monde - Sushi restaurant

Recently opened on High Street, this place offers a variety of homemade sushi, Chao Mein, vegan curry or salads and knows how to adapt everything to be vegan-friendly. Although there is no place to seat in, we would definitely recommend you popping in if you are after some light lunch whilst meandering through the picturesque streets of St Ives. They are also very aware of their impact on the environment and use sustainable packaging for their takeaways.

Archie Browns - Natural health Store and Cafe

This wonderful cafe with plenty of veggie and vegan options can either be found in Truro or Penzance. If you are heading to one or the other during your stay in Cornwall, make sure to pop in for some fresh healthy lunch to recharge your batteries before the next activity.
