The best coffee in St Ives

Tash Murch

There's nothing like a good cup of coffee in the morning, it's even better when enjoyed by the sea. Whether you like your coffee sitting in a warm cafe watching the world go by or in a takeaway cup to have on the beach, we have put together a few suggestions for the best places to enjoy a coffee in St Ives, all within walking distance from your luxury self-catering apartments.

Yallah Coffee

Located on the harbour front, Yallah Coffee is just a 5-minute walk from your luxury self-catering apartment. Sustainably sourced and roasted right here in Cornwall, Yallah coffee is both fresh and flavoursome. If you’re looking for something to accompany your coffee, you are in for a treat as their cakes are very tasty too.

St Eia

Situated just across the road from Porthmeor beach and 5 minutes walk from your luxury apartment, St Eia is both a wine bar and coffee shop, offering very tasty coffee from Creature Coffees. St Eia is the perfect stop off after a nice walk along Porthmeor with your four legged-friend, for a warm coffee and cake.

The Yellow Canary Café

Walking along Fore street, your eyes will be drawn to Yellow Canary’s well-presented window display, with impressive-sized sandwiches, pretty cakes and pastries. The coffee here is just as good too, especially when enjoyed in the great location of Fore Street. Just sit back and relax with your coffee cup and watch the hustle and bustle pass by.

Moomaid of Zennor

Home to some of the best Cornish ice cream created at their own dairy farm in Zennor, The Moomaid of Zennor has a parlour in St Ives, situated on Street An Pol just behind Lambeth Walk, where you will find yourself just meters from the sea. They not only sell ice cream but offer great coffee too, brought alongside one of their homemade cakes or cream teas, you have a winning combination.

Porthmeor Café

For the perfect view with your coffee,  just a 5 minute walk from your luxury apartment heading down to Porthmeor Beach cafe is an absolute must. In Autumn, grabbing a seat in one of the outside heated pods and watching the waves with a warm coffee and cake is the best way to spend a morning. If you are on holiday with your dog too, they are more than welcome to join you on the terrace.

Porthgwidden Café

Situated on Porthgwidden beach, just minutes from your dog-friendly cottage, Porthgwidden café is positioned to give you amazing views across the whole of St Ives bay whist enjoying a freshly ground coffee and cake. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, you maybe tempted to treat yourself to more than the coffee you set out for. Dogs are also welcome to join owners on the outside terrace.
