The weekend of the St Ives Food Festival has returned after it was sorely missed in 2020. This coming weekend the beach at Porthminster is set to be packed with plenty of things to enjoy for the foodies amongst us. From Friday the 17th there will be events taking place around Porthminster, from fireworks to music - the perfect way to kick start the proceedings.

Food Stalls and Local Vendors

The food festival is an amalgamation of everything wonderful that St Ives has to enjoy, local traders from throughout the county come to exhibit their food and drink. Whether you're after a freshly baked cake or some Cornish honey you're in for a treat.

Chef Demonstations

The demo stage is one of the best things about the food and drink festival, with live demonstrations throughout the day you can take a seat and watch chefs from around the county demonstrate how they craft some signature dishes for you to enjoy trying for yourself. This year's lineup includes The New Yard's Jeffrey Robinson, Kota's Jude Kereama and Porthminster's Michael Smith.

Weekend of Music

Music makes up the evenings of the Food and Drink Festival and with a wide range of genres to enjoy from folk to funk there's sure to be something worth stopping by for this year's performers include Bailey Tomkinson, Cable Street Collective and Freshly Squeezed.

Fireworks kick off at 9pm on Friday the 17th of September on Porthminster Beach coupled with the opening acts of the musical performances that evening. For the musical performances you will need to buy a ticket to gain entry for more information look here.
