St Ives Christmas Lights

Switching on 29th November| 7pm | Royal Square

Gather in Royal Square and join the community and Father Christmas in the countdown to Christmas in St Ives. You’re sure to feel the festive magic as the lights are switched on and the town is illuminated throughout. Of course if you’re not in St Ives for the switching on, the lights will remain throughout the festive season making for a wonderful evening walk not far from your luxury cottage in St Ives.

Mousehole Harbour Lights

Switching on 14th December | 6.30pm | Mousehole Harbour

With Nessie weaving her way in and out of the water and lights of all colours reflected in the calm harbour, Mousehole is home to some of the most iconic Christmas lights in Cornwall. After the switching on, the lights will be illuminated from 5pm – 11pm every evening and at just a half an hour drive from your luxury cottage in Cornwall, we’d say these lights are a must see.

Angarrack Christmas Lights

Switching on 30th November | 5pm | Angarrack

Situated near Hayle and no more than 15 minutes from your luxury cottage in St Ives, Angarrack is home to over 60 unique lights including installations for each of The Twelve Days of Christmas and all of Santa's Reindeer as well as snowmen, angels, stars and even Angarrack's own train. Embark on the circular walk to take in all the splendour of the lights as well as stunning views over the valley. Parking is free at Hayle Rugby Club, just off the Marks & Spencer’s roundabout.

Truro Festival of Lights

Switching on 20th November | 7pm | Truro

You wouldn’t expect anything less than a show from Cornwall’s capital and a show is most certainly what you get. If you’re able to make the switching on of the lights, you’ll witness The City of Lights procession which includes music, dancing and lanterns made by schools and community groups as well as the giant, artist made lanterns all adhering to the theme which changes every year. Previous lanterns range from rhinos and monarchs to Elvis himself. Truro is around a half an hour drive from your luxury cottage in St Ives, we strongly recommend using the park and ride, as the city centre will be closed to traffic and extremely busy.
