Spring, while often clear and sunny does unfortunately have its occassional spells of wet weather, in St Ives however this isn't something to fear. You can find galleries throughout the town offering art in a variety of mediums but of course you can also visit the recently rennovated Tate St Ives overlooking Porthmeor Beach. If pottery is more to your pursuasion then on the other side of town is Leach Pottery where you can discover the museum overviewing the history of pottery in St Ives.

The Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Gardens are great whatever the weather. Recently rennovated the museum has on display a number of Hepworth's art throughout the years and allows a unique discovery of St Ives' historic past.

Ok, so days out and about in wet weather might not initially seem the most intriguing of options but there's really no reason to not get outside and discover the town and surrounding areas.
