Just down the northern coast past Zennor are the towns of Pendeen and St Just. A family favourite without question are the penguin feeding sessions where everyone gathers around the penguin pool to learn more about the Humboldt’s Penguin as they enjoy their feeding sessions.

Heartlands

There’s nothing better than a family day out in the blissfully warm Cornish sun. A free visitor attraction Heartlands is unquestionably worth a visit. The former mining area offers state of the art exhibitions, gardens and an adventure for all the family. The 19-acre space has both indoor and outdoor areas for you to see, explore and play. Filled with famers’ markets, cultural festivals; music, art and dance there’s little reason to not pay a visit and experience the fun for yourself.

Eden Project

If you’ve been to Cornwall before and have yet to visit the biomes of the Eden Project you’re missing out. Transformed from a clay pit to what it is today; Eden is without doubt a must see if you’re in Cornwall. Fantastic for families, the site allows you to explore the dense rainforest, climb to the top of a waterfall or experience the landscapes of the Mediterranean, California and South Africa. The Eden Project is just under an hours drive from St Ives and offers you an experience like no other.
