With each season bringing something different to the table, St Ives is always special no matter what the time of year. However there is definitely an extra element of magic in the air during the run up to Christmas. With the summer long gone and the crowds with it, there's no better time to enjoy of St Ives without the hustle and bustle. A Christmas getaway means you're able to enjoy all of the perks of St Ives in the winter with added festive atmosphere. What better way to get warmed up for Christmas? As we draw closer to the big day, towns and cities everywhere will see their share of festivities. But on Friday 7th December St Ives will host a notably unique event. After a greeting from the Mayor, Santa will take a sleigh ride around the harbour to say hello. This is a fantastic time to visit St Ives in order to witness an event that young spectators will hold in their hearts for years to come. Sail Lofts five star accommodation is conveniently situated out of the town centre whilst being in close proximity to everything. So after a magical and exhilarating evening, any tired little ones will be home and tucked up in no time.
