Tehidy Woods - Near Camborne

Tehidy Woods, located just outside Camborne on the west coast of Cornwall offers 250 acres of woodland and winding paths to explore. Tehidy is a fantastic place to take in the natural surroundings of Cornwall as you weave throughout the nine miles of footpath around the estate.

Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens - Near Penzance

Just outside of Penzance lie the tropical gardens of Tremenheere, overlooking Mount's Bay and the famed St Michael's Mount. Tremenheere also offers a look at the sculptures throughout the gardens and a restaurant and cafe for a bite to eat or a drink while you visit.

The Tin Coast - Near St Just

The coast around St Just, Pendeen and Morvah is one of the most historic areas of Cornwall's countryside. Engine houses dot the landscape with Geevor and Botallack offering some fantastic views of the past and rich coastal exploration. A visit to the Tin Coast offers endless amounts of walking and but with some climbs and rocky paths it's best suited for seasoned walkers.

Godolphin - Near Penzance

Godolphin House is a grade 1 listed Tudor and Stuart house with a wide and expansive estate around it. Overlooking West Cornwall you can get fantastic views of the area from Godolphin Hill with panoramic views across the coastline. Godolphin House is a part of the National Trust and has it's own parking, the site is also dog friendly but dogs are required to be on leads in some locations.

Trebah Gardens - Near Truro

Trebah Gardens can be found on the outskirts of Truro and is one of the best gardens to be found in the area. The 26 acre valley garden is wonderfully secluded near the Helford river and offers a wonderful day out. Booking is essential so visit their website to reserve a ticket.
