Out on the coast
Coastal walking is one of the greatest things to enjoy when in Cornwall whatever the time of the year, but as autumn sets in the time to truly get out there begins. From St Ives you can head in almost every direction and experience the best of the Cornish coast, whether it's the miles of sand dunes at Hayle Towans or the stunning flora on the cliffside en route to Zennor.
Gardens and National Trust sites
Throughout the county there are a vast array of gardens and National Trust sites for you to explore, whether you're looking for a location with a storied history or somewhere exhibiting something a little more modern, whilst in our luxury cottages in St Ives you will be sure to enjoy something unique.
Nearby Penzance, Tremenheere Sculpture Gardens offer one of the best views of St Michael's Mount in the centre of Mount's Bay. The gardens themselves offer something a little more unique, featuring a number of sculpture artists including David Nash, James Turrell and Tim Shaw. Tremenheere also is perfect for a bite to eat at the Tremenheere Kitchen.
On the outskirts of Heamoor, near Penzance is Trengwainton, 25 acres of gardens with a manor house at the centre. In the calmer weather you can enjoy a cream tea in the sun at their cafe after pacing around the walled garden. Perfect for a day out away from St Ives allowing you to make the most of reserved parking throughout your stay.
