Outdoor Activities to Look Forward to this Spring

Conor Fletcher

As spring grows ever-near and St Ives finally begins to welcome people back to its sunny shores there's time to look forward at what there is to enjoy throughout the coming season on the Cornish coast that gets you a break from the crowds and bustle that you may find in the town centre or on the beach. Cornwall, with its vast open countryside is the perfect place to escape with the family and enjoy some of the best scenic hotspots England has to offer you.

Coastal Walking in Cornwall

St Ives and Carbis Bay can be a great starting point if you're looking to venture out and about across the county while staying in our luxury cottages in St Ives. Whether it's a beachside stroll in the sun or a more lengthily walk across the coast there's no better place to start your route. If you're looking for an easier day out why not meander across St Ives Harbour, moving on to Porthminster Beach and finally along coastal path along Carbis Bay before winding your way back around. For those in need of a bigger adventure it might be worth bringing your walking shoes as you travel across the South West Coastal Path and make your way to Zennor. This route is without question more rugged, with ups and downs along the way it's often quite the workout but no less rewarding as you can capture some of the stunning scenery of the local landscape along the way.
