World Pasty Championships | 29th of February

Although not quite in March, the World Pasty Championships at Eden is a great day out for all of the family, with bakers from all over the county vying to win the prize of World Pasty Champion, professional and amateur alike you'll find there's no better way to get a look-in at the creation of Cornwall's greatest export. Just a short drive from our self catering cottages Eden Project is a fantastic day out for all of the family regardless of what's on as the Biomes are a unique way to experience a variety of different environments in one location.

St Piran's Day | 5th of March

One of Cornwall's most widely celebrated traditions is St Piran's Day, the Patron Saint's national day for the county is a joyous affair from Liskeard to Land's End. Enjoy traditional Cornish music across the county and find yourself in and amongst a street procession in St Ives, or should you be feeling like a little trip out then why not head to Truro and join in a festive song, speeches, and performance throughout the city.

The Cornish Gin and Drinks Festival | 21st of March

One for the adults amongst us, the Cornish Gin and Drinks Festival is being held at the Alverton in Truro, with samples and a chance to speak to the distillers and makers on show this is a great opportunity to enjoy some locally made products and experience an adult-friendly event to start springtime.

Daffodils in Cornwall

Falmouth Spring Festival | 19th - 29th of March

The Spring Flower show is a wonderful start to the season, as bright flowers come to bloom and daffodils are in hand Falmouth becomes blanketed in a wave of yellow. Local school children brighten up the shops with their bunches of daffodils and flower show displays a selection of the wonderful array of flora from around the area.
