Plenty of places in St Ives will happily welcome your pooch when you decide to go out for lunch or dinner. Porthmeor Cafe, Porthminster Cafe or The Hub, the choices are endless whether you fancy a dinner looking out to the sea, a breakfast in town or simply a coffee sat on the harbour.

If you are looking to go further afield, a lovely place called Birdies Bistro will welcome you in Lelant for breakfast and tasty lunch. Across the road is The Old Forge is also welcoming dogs in their beautifully decorated conservatory. If you are visiting Godrevy Lighthouse and fancy a bite to eat, Godrevy Café allows dogs on the ground floor and have plenty of tables available outside. Around the corner is The Rockpool which also allows dogs in their restaurant area.

St Ives has a few beaches open to dogs all year round - Bamaluz beach is just a few minute's walk from The Island car park and is the perfect dreamy spot to have a beach day with your dog. The harbour beach is also dog friendly when the tide is out and offers a large space for your pooch to run around. If you are heading out of St Ives, Mexico Beach is a part of Gwithian beach that allows dogs all the time and is great for the ones who enjoy a little swim in the sea.

After a few days at the beach or exploring St Ives, you may want to visit a few gardens showing beautiful flowers or sculptures. Tremenheere Sculpture gardens just outside Penzance is a wonderful place to stroll amongst stunning sculptures and breathtaking gardens - the dog-friendly cafe is also a wonderful spot for lunch.

A little further towards Falmouth, Trebah Garden is worth a visit. This beautiful garden is located by the beach and offers a great place to walk around to unwind and relax. The cafe and shop are also open to end the visit with a drink or a little something to buy for your four-legged friend.
