It's that time of the year again where we like to celebrate with crackers, sparkles, great food but it is also a fabulous time to share and make memories with your families and friends that will last forever. With only 41 days until Christmas some of us may have already started to buy some presents for our loved ones. This a perfect excuse for you to allow yourself to a festive break in St Ives and buy your family or friends some traditional Cornish fudge or maybe a piece of art from St Ives?

Christmas Markets in Cornwall

If you travelled by car then you're in luck, some of the most famous Christmas markets in Cornwall are only a 30 minutes drive from the Sail Lofts car park. Truro is definitely worth a visit during the late night shopping and this will take place every Wednesday from 28th November.  By allowing for an extended festive shopping period, this is a great opportunity for visitors to enjoy a traffic-free experience and enjoy all the activities as darkness arrives and the lights begin to twinkle.

To continue your hunt for the best Christmas gift, we recommend you to have a look at Porthleven Christmas Market, near Helston. Porthleven is already famous for the well-established food festival taking place before the Summer and we couldn't be happier to see their Christmas Market returning this year. Expect plenty of tasty festive food, an indoor bar, Christmas music and an array of stalls selling gifts in the harbour. This lovely seaside town will host its second Christmas Market on the weekend 17/18th November, from 10am to 4pm.
