A glimpse of our local Cornish selection

Hélène Chaussavoine

Going on holiday in St Ives is a wonderful experience to learn more about the history of the town, the artists, the local Cornish community but also the wonderful local food and drinks! Here at Sail Lofts, we like to promote local businesses and invite our guests to know more about the local shops in town during their stay in one of our five star luxury apartment. All fresh produce included in our welcome hampers are locally made and we are determined to keep it this way. After testing a range of different produce, we carefully select our favourite brands and we are very excited to share them with you.

Roddas

Who doesn't like to enjoy a delicious cream tea whilst visiting Cornwall ? Exclusive to Cornwall, the famous clotted cream is best appreciated with scone and jam (with the view overlooking the Atlantic Ocean if possible!). When you book a stay in one of our St Ives luxury accommodation, make sure to let us know your favourite between sweet and savoury and if you prefere to treat yourself to a cream tea after a long day of travelling, the sweet hamper will be awaiting your arrival in your five star self catering aparment. We also provide milk and butter for you to enjoy the full Rhoddas experience.

St Ives Bakery

Situated in the heart of Fore Street, this independant bakery is the defenitely the place to go if you are looking for a well-baked hot pasty to enjoy on a winter day. They also offer a variety of delicious baked goods hence why we chose to collect our scones from them to make sure that our guests experience the best Cornish Cream Tea.

Curds & Croust

If you would rather choose a savoury hamper, some tasteful cheese and crackers will be ready for you in your St Ives luxury accommodation. As we only choose the best, we decided to work with the locally-based compagny Curds Crousts who offer a mouth-watering selection of cheese. From the Boy Laity Camembert to Smokey Duck Brie, everyone will be able to find their favourite!

Polgoon

To satisfy your thirst, we decided to include a bottle of elderflower presse in each hamper for you to discover the taste of the award-winning company Polgoon. Situated near Penzance, this family-run business offers a varity of wine, ciders and juices. During the Christmas period, you will discover a bottle of mulled cider in the hamper so you can enjoy a festive drink whilst relaxing in your St Ives five star luxury apartment.
