Days out with dogs in Cornwall

Tehidy Country Park

With a wide range of dog friendly walks, through a variety of terrains, getting lost for a few hours at Tehidy is always an afternoon well spent. I never start off with a plan on which direction we will go, but on arrival my four legged companions always set the pace and direction for the day. From circular walks around the nature ponds, to clifftop hikes, Tehidy Country Park is the ideal destination for an afternoon of walking and enjoying time enjoying the beauty of Cornwall.  Perfect for days out with dogs.

Porthtowan – The Blue Bar

One of my favourite beaches outside of St Ives, for its dramatic cliff faces, and expanse of open sand, not forgetting amazing dog friendly café The Blue Bar. For years I have spent time enjoying the views from inside in the winter from the glass pods, overlooking the storms rolling in, in preparation before a windy walk along the sands. Also it's perfect for enjoying a summer cider after stroll on the outside benches. Overlooking the waves cruising in, and the surfers preparing to brave the waters. Try the nachos. You will not be disappointed. They also have plenty of water bowls inside and out to quench your pooches thirst.

SUP in a Bag

St Agnes is a wonderful little village, well worth a visit during your next dog friendly holiday, and we felt SUP in a Bag worth a mention. These paddle boarding gurus allow doggies of an adventurous nature to join their owners paddle boarding the enjoying the local coastline.

What a better way of spending time together than out on the water. Taking in the sights, and enjoying something new, the team run a range of activities around the Cornish coastline so to find out more call the team or head over to their gallery of dogs enjoying time out on the local estuaries, rivers and beaches.
