Katy Peck

With this fair weather set to stick around a last-minute St Ives break is well within reach at the Sail Lofts luxury self-catering apartments. There is plenty on this November, so here is our round-up of our top picks of things to do in and around St Ives.

Tremenheere Sculpture Park

The dramatic landscape and planting provide the backdrop to contemplative but inspirational artworks. Internationally renowned artists, such as James Turrell and David Nash have interacted with the garden to create site-specific permanent work which harmonises with the setting. The land also provides a forum for an ever-changing temporary, or even ephemeral art in all its forms. 2016 brought the arrival of the Restless Temple – ‘Ride the Storm’, the temple blows in the wind on top of the hill at the gardens, an amazing mechanical sculpture.
