St Ives September Festival, 8th - 22nd September 2012, offers a great musical break before autumn sets in.
A diverse choice of bands, events and spontaneous gigs, this small fishing town is filled with live music, exhibitions, talks, walks, comedy, theatre, cabaret and street entertainment to create a great atmosphere.
If you’ve not been before, it’s also a great time of year to visit. Its still warm (even the sea is at its warmest), great sunsets and the ambience around town is relaxed as locals and town folk are celebrating the coming of the end to the season.
And it isn’t just music... the pubs, Tate St Ives and other galleries, St Ives Arts Club, and the opening day on the harbour front, all have something happening as part of the celebrations.
Last year saw the busiest festival since it began in 1977, and this year already looks like building on that success. If you’re free for a week, or for all 14 days, it’s well worth the journey.
Ticket can be pre-booked through:
