The Coldstreamer
A traditional pub located in a beautiful village between St Ives and Penzance - Gulval. Fish landed a few miles away in Newlyn, meat from the local butcher in Penzance, and vegetables from a selection of small local producers. Tom learnt his culinary skills at the Michelin starred Abbey Restaurant under Ben Tunnicliffe, and then spent a year and a half at the Gurnard’s Head before taking charge of his own kitchen at The Coldstreamer. Concise clean menus, and recently included in the 2011 Michelin Pub Guide.

Real ale, and music every Thursday night. Walk the coast path from St Ives (3 hours), have a great lunch and a bit of a drink, and get a cab back … 01736 796927.
