Dawn was born and has lived in Cornwall most of her life.

From the Foundation Course at the Berkshire College of Art to Life Drawing and Painting at Penzance School of Art, she is now based in one of the artist's studios at The Sail Lofts.

Dawn is an Associate Member of the Penwith Gallery in St. Ives and has work exhibited in galleries throughout the South West.

Her work is mostly Figure based, exploring and expressing the similarity of the human form and the cornish landscape and the effect of time and erosion on them both.
